Here In Vitality Workshop - June Sessions 2022
What is Here in Vitality?

Here in Vitality is an intensive, life-affirming series of three workshops for people who have a long-term diagnosis of HIV (10 years or more). The course is run by Terrence Higgins Trust and is free to attend for those who meet the joining criteria.

Over the sessions, participants will reflect on their experience of being diagnosed, acknowledge their personal journeys amid changes in wider society and healthcare, and look forward to the future.

To gain the full benefit of these workshops it is essential that participants take part in all three sessions.

What does it involve?

Here in Vitality is held across three, 90-minute to two-hour-long online sessions.

All sessions in this series start at 6.30pm

The sessions involve exercises that encourage participants to reflect on various milestones:

• Session One, The Past: Looking back at the day you were diagnosed.
• Session Two, The Present: Reflecting on where you are now and the journey travelled.
• Session Three, The Future: Looking at prospects of ageing with HIV and social care provisions that may or may not be in place. This is a discussion piece.

Each session offers you the chance to reflect on your individual journey and emotions. You’re invited to share your personal experiences with the group if you feel comfortable.

Who can take part?

Anyone who has been living with HIV for 10+ years that feels that they could benefit from the sessions

What do I need?

You will need a device with an internet connection to join the workshops via Zoom.

We can offer data packages for anyone who is otherwise unable to join. Please enquire about data with user.involvement@tht.org.uk using the subject line ‘Here in Vitality - Data’.
